Not so Dirty Rice

Name: Not so Dirty Rice
Ingredients: 2 hot italian sausages, taken out of the casing; 1/2 cup onion, diced; 1/4 cup celery, diced; 1 clove garlic, minced fine; 2 tbs parsley, minced fine; 1/4 cup green pepper, diced; 2 cups cooked rice; Franks hot sauce; Salt and pepper

To really make dirty rice, add chicken livers. But this is dirty enough for rock n’ roll

Mise en Place

Produce

2hot italian sausages, taken out of the casing
1/2 cuponion, diced
1/4 cupcelery, diced
1 clovegarlic, minced fine
2 tbsparsley, minced fine

Staples

1/4 cupgreen pepper, diced
2 cupscooked rice
Franks hot sauce
Salt and pepper

Directions

In some oil, brown sausage
Evac
Turn down heat, take out some oil if you need to, and cook trinity (the veggies) till soft
Take off heat, fold in sausage and rice
Adjust salt
Add Franks till it reaches desired level of spicy-ness.
